NOTE: WeddingDJ CAN NOT support Apple Music subscriptions.

WeddingDJ is the best way to run the music for your wedding on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Running your music on an iPod can be great, but not if the wrong song comes on or the music cuts out. Thats why WeddingDJ helps you plan out all the music you need at your wedding, using the songs and playlists you have in iTunes. When the big day comes, you hand it off to your MC, who simply needs to slide "next" for each part of your wedding.

"Quite easy & fun to use" - DIYBride.com
"I wish this app had been available when I got married" - SugaredInk.blogspot.com
"Refuses to let fat fingers or accidental taps on your display screen interrupt the music." - Tom Boné, professional DJ
"Love, love, LOVE the fact that it fades in and out of the songs before it switches" - App Store Reviews
"With this app, the reception music was flawless. Some of the moves on the dance floor however... not so flawless. A great app! Worth far beyond the price." - Mick White

Pros and cons of WeddingDJ app for iPhone and iPad

WeddingDJ app good for

Great app! Surprised something like this hasnt been on the app store before now. Have used it for parties and am thinking of using it for sound transitions in a theatre show Im directing. Would be cool if you could manually adjust fade in/out times in future versions. Since Im already married I cant speak to it for weddings, but with the customizable cue names, you can make it work for any event that needs sound cues. Whats next steamclock?
So easy to setup music for an entire event all at once. I didnt even use this for a wedding I used it for a party. The battery warnings were also pretty useful.
This thing is magic! It was a no brainer to use my iPhone. I got to use all my favorite songs, and didnt have to pay big bucks for a DJ. Thanks guys.
Pretty cool to be able to setup all your songs. Its like a Keynote for your music.
My fiancé and I are getting married next year and have been trying to decide between hiring a DJ or playing our own music off of one of our iPhones. WeddingDJ is an easy-to-use app that should be used by anyone opting to play their own music at a wedding for its customizable itinerary that covers every part of a traditional wedding and its fool-proof interface for changing between individual songs and playlists. I would like to see the ability to interrupt a currently playing playlist (e.g. Party Dancing) with a song or playlist (e.g. Bouquet Toss/Garter Toss or Slow Dancing) to then have the original playlist pick up again after the second event is completed, though it seems you can use the Song Request feature to closely mimic that.
This App is great!! Saved me money and I got to play all the songs I wanted without stressing over breaks and fading. You really dont need a DJ if you buy this app

Some bad moments

Now I may have to find another program, as the creators have decided which songs by which artists the app will play. I am very unhappy with this as it is not there right to band certain artists especially when you have paid for the app and created all the playlists for your wedding. Very displeased! Also spoke to the creator.... Told me they would fix the problem.... They havent. Instead of telling you that the program refuses to insert the song of choice, it will put the song u want into the program but skips right over it when you actually play it. I have hired a real DJ and I am very displeased with this companys shadiness.
I was hoping to just use the app for my wedding. Ive paid for all of my music but I cant use it through this app. If the creators want to have people actually use this they need to allow more music to be played.
Terrible. Why would they make a player that doesnt play music, especially if its bought from iTunes.
Not worth the money! It is simply put, not a good app for the job.
The look of the app is really nice and the organization is nice but dont get this app if you are using Apple Music. It only works with songs that have been paid for individually. Found that out after paying for it... ended up just using my iTunes playlists for my wedding :(
This app is worth much more than the $5 cost. My bride and I opted to forego the $1500 deejay. We bought an IPad2 and a couple hundred dollars worth of wedding reception music. Having a background in music, and friends in the industry, we created our playlists and away we went. The wedding reception was perfect. The crossfade made the music seamless. And, at the end of the day, we saved $$$ and have an iPad2. None of that matters though if the reception had hit a snag, but with this app, the reception music was flawless. Some of the moves on the dance floor however...not so flawless. A great app!!!! Worth far beyond the price. Easy to set up. Easy to work with during the wedding reception. And, great communication with Mr. Pike. Highly recommend this app!
